Watcher of The Plains Finest US Lost Wax Bronze Sculpture by C.M. Russell

$720.00 price_excluding_tax

This statue depicts the time on the plains after the Sioux and Cheyenne had been confined to reservations in the North Mid-West. Settlers had moved into the area near the reservations and the occasional up rising stemming from the life that the tribes were forced to live brought the settlers and Native Americans into physical conflict. Someone always had to be on the watch.

Jumbo, Monumental and heroic sizes do not come with a marble base.

Made to order, please allow 4-8 weeks for production and delivery.

Color Choices – We usually cast and finish many of our sculptures with what is referred as multi-color patina. Our bronze sculpture selection may also be customized in a number of fire-applied patinas, such as classic French Brown, Verdigris, Italian Green as well as Gold and other custom finish options. All bronze statuary will develop a natural patina when left in nature’s elements. The aged patina on bronzes is often desired, but if not, can be prevented by care and cleaning of the bronze statue by applying beeswax or other polish to prevent an aged patina from forming. Color selection is more a matter of customer preference.
