Frolic by Max Turner

Dolphins are not only the friendliest or caring creatures but also the most intelligent ones. It is believed by scientists that comparing the ratio size of brain to body, dolphins take the 2nd place right after the humans! Dolphins never chew their food, they swallow it as a whole.

Their teeth are used only to catch their prey. It has been proven by scientists that dolphins give themselves names. They develop their own individual whistles and they recognize each other’s.

This sculpture has stunning beauty and detail, which will bring a classy artisan look to any business or home where it is displayed. This sculpture truly shows off the beauty that Max Turner can achieve through his artwork.

This excellent quality Max Turner bronze sculpture, Serenade, is an impressive display of Dolphins for home, office, or as a gift. Our quality bronze sculptures can proudly be passed down from generation to generation.

Description

Our handcrafted bronze sculptures are cast in the finest American bronze using the superior lost wax method, finished in a multi-color patina and mounted on a black marble base with an etched brass plate that bears the name of the statue and the artist. Marble base on most statues is included but optional, please let us know if you don’t want your statue mounted on a marble base.

Jumbo, Monumental and heroic sizes do not come with a marble base.

Made to order, please allow 4-8 weeks for production and delivery.

Color Choices – We usually cast and finish many of our sculptures with what is referred as multi-color patina. Our bronze sculpture selection may also be customized in a number of fire-applied patinas, such as classic French Brown, Verdigris, Italian Green as well as Gold and other custom finish options. All bronze statuary will develop a natural patina when left in nature’s elements. The aged patina on bronzes is often desired, but if not, can be prevented by care and cleaning of the bronze statue by applying beeswax or other polish to prevent an aged patina from forming. Color selection is more a matter of customer preference.
