$1,522.00 price_excluding_tax

The “Gates of Promise” sculpture by Demetre H. Chiparus, a renowned artist of the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements, epitomizes the elegance and intricate craftsmanship of early 20th-century bronzes. This exquisite tabletop sculpture features a woman dancing gracefully before a gate guarded by two cats. The figure’s pose, as if dancing for the feline sentinels, captures a moment of both allure and mystique, typical of Chiparus’s work, which often depicted dancers and performers in dynamic, sensuous poses. This is a classical bronze statue by Chiparus. The signed bronze sculpture is a high quality product, which is full of great detail in comparison to the original. This statue is reproduced in the finest American bronze by the “Lost Wax” casting process. It is made to order, handmade and hand finished and then mounted on a fine marble base, (marble base may be different color than shown).  Please allow 4-8 weeks for completion and delivery.

Dimensions: 25″H x 14″L. all dimensions are approximate.

Color Choices – We usually cast and finish many of our sculptures with what is referred as multi-color patina. Our bronze sculpture selection may also be customized in a number of fire-applied patinas, such as classic French Brown, Verdigris, Italian Green as well as Gold and other custom finish options. Bronze is a durable material that can withstand the test of time, making it a popular choice for sculptures that can last for centuries. All bronze statuary will develop a natural patina when left in nature’s elements. The aged patina on bronzes is often desired, but if not, can be prevented by care and cleaning of the bronze statue with a mild soap and water and by applying beeswax or other polish to prevent an aged patina from forming. Color selection is more a matter of customer preference. Free shipping on all statues.
