Les Amants, (Girl) Classic Lost Wax Bronze Sculpture by A. Moreau

The name of the Les Amants Sculpture by Auguste Moreau is a little misleading because it means “the lovers” when translated from French. There is a solitary figure dressed in loose peasant style clothing next to an ancient column. The piece is woven with vines as if it has been suspended in time for many years. This is a sullen piece that makes you wonder where the other lover has gone. Whether you buy one for a decoration by itself or buy both, they will be a great addition anywhere you place them. Also available boy version,
