This American Handmade Bronze Sculpture by Frederic Remington is cast in the superior Lost Wax Casting process. This insures a quality bronze sculpture that may be passed down from generation to generation. This statue is reproduced in the purest American bronze, finished in dark patina with hand-applied highlights that create natural variations in texture and color and then hand-rubbed to bring out the awesome detail and highlights, making a unique and lasting sculpture that is an original work of art. This renders that no two statues are exactly alike. The statue is then mounted on a beautiful black marble base with an etched brass plate. The incredible detail of each sculpture is a Remington hallmark. May need to be made to order (unless we happen to have one in stock), please allow 4-8 weeks for production and delivery.
Our handcrafted bronze sculptures are cast in the finest American bronze using the superior lost wax method, finished in a multi-color patina and mounted on a black marble base with an etched brass plate that bears the name of the statue and the artist. Marble base on most smaller statues is included but optional, please let us know if you don’t want your statue mounted on a marble base.
Jumbo, life-size, monumental and heroic sizes do not come with a marble base.

Color Choices – We usually cast and finish many of our sculptures with what is referred as multi-color patina. Our bronze sculpture selection may also be customized in a number of fire-applied patinas, such as classic French Brown, Verdigris, Italian Green as well as Gold and other custom finish options. Bronze is a durable material that can withstand the test of time, making it a popular choice for sculptures that can last for centuries. All bronze statuary will develop a natural patina when left in nature’s elements. The aged patina on bronzes is often desired, but if not, can be prevented by care and cleaning of the bronze statue with a mild soap and water and by applying beeswax or other polish to prevent an aged patina from forming.
