Description
The Sergeant and Savage busts, each less than twelve inches high, may have been inspired by a suggestion from Ricardo Bertelli that Remington should try making smaller, and thus less costly statuettes to enable a greater portion of the public to acquire his works. The Sergeant was completed in 1904.
Cast by the superior lost wax process, finished in the traditional dark brown patina and mounted on a black marble base, each one is one of a kind and 100% bronze.
