This beautiful sculpture by Emile Laporte about father-son relationships depicts a Viking father teaching his son the ropes. Wonderful details and accuracy of the ancient Vikings. 34″H x 15″L.

This statue is cast in the finest American bronze, finished in multi-color patinas and mounted on a black or green marble base. The statue is made to order and unless we have one in stock, please allow 4-6 weeks for production and delivery.

About the artist:

Emile Laporte was a French 19th Century sculptor who was born in 1858. Emile Laporte’s work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from $406 USD to $13,022 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Since 1999 the record price for this artist at auction is $13,022 USD for Young boy and goat, sold at De Vuyst in 2013. The artist died in 1907.
